Manon Léonard (born January 20, 2001 in Melun ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Léonard started playing tennis at the age of five and, according to the ITF profile, prefers the clay court. So far she has mainly played tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit .

She played the singles and doubles competitions at the Grand Slam tournaments from the junior doubles of the French Open 2016 . Here she reached the quarterfinals at the French Open 2018 in junior doubles with her partner Mylène Halemai , at the Australian Open 2019 she reached the quarterfinals in the junior singles , where she lost 3: 6 and 1: 6 to Leylah Annie Fernandez .

In 2019 she received a wildcard from the French Tennis Association for qualifying for the women's singles at the French Open . But she failed there in the first round with 2: 6 and 6: 7 6 to Nao Hibino .
