Manuel "Manu" Hernández-Sonseca Hervás (born June 6, 1986 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish soccer player and now coach .

Career

As a player

Hervás started his career at Real Aranjuez . He then played at Atlético Madrid . In March 2005, he made his debut for the B team of Atlético in the Segunda División B , when he was on the 28th match day of the 2004/05 season against the UD Fuerteventura in the starting lineup. This was his only season use. In the 2005/06 season he made three appearances for Atlético B.

For the 2006/07 season he moved to UD Lanzarote . For Lanzarote he played eleven games in the third-highest division that season, in which he went without a hit. In 2007 Hervás moved to the B-team of Getafe FC .

He made his debut for the Getafe pros in December 2007 when he was brought into play in the 87th minute for Miguel Pallardó in the Cup match against Burgos CF. In March 2008 he was against Athletic Bilbao for the first time in the squad in the Primera División , but was not used.

In January 2010 he moved to the Austrian second division club FC Admira Wacker Mödling . In March 2010, he made his debut in the second division when he was on the 20th match day of the 2009/10 season against FC Gratkorn from the start. In his year and a half with Admira, he played five games in the second division and twelve games for the amateurs in the Regionalliga .

For the 2011/12 season, Hervás moved to Hungary for the first division club Zalaegerszegi TE FC , where he received a three-year contract. For the club he came in that season to 19 missions in the Nemzeti Bajnokság , from which one, however, relegated to the end of the season as bottom of the table.

He then moved to Norway in 2012 for third division club Valdres FK . In February 2014 Hervás moved to FK Gjøvik Lyn . After the 2016 season, he ended his career.

As a trainer

After the end of his career, Hervás became assistant coach and coach of the U-19 team at Raufoss IL .
