Manuel Mark (born November 10, 1985 in St. Johann in Tirol ) is an Austrian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 74 kilograms.

Mark played his first title fights at the Junior World Championship in 2002 in Heraklion , where he was able to move into the quarterfinals. In the adult field, he made his debut at the 2005 World Cup in Madrid . With three wins he made it to the last sixteen. Mark also took part in the European Championship in Riga and achieved a good result by reaching the quarterfinals. The first international medals he was able to win in the class up to 72 kilograms at the European Championships in 2008 in Rome and in the class up to 74 kilograms in 2010 in Saint Petersburg . He reached the final at both European Championships, where he lost to Rıdvan Baygut and won the silver medal. Moving into the quarter-finals at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju , he achieved his best ever World Cup result.

Mark narrowly missed participation in the Olympic Games twice. Each in the quarterfinals of the Euro qualifying he was defeated in 2008 in Istanbul against Dennis Bekkers and 2012 in Kazan against Michał Łoniewski .

Mark started Taekwondo in a club in his hometown when he was seven. In 2005 he was appointed as a sports soldier at the Army Sports Center in Innsbruck . Mark completed an apprenticeship as a tiler, and since 2011 he has been studying computer science at the Open University in Hagen .

He ended his sporting career on August 24, 2012. Mark has been the national coach of Austria since 2014.
