Rıdvan Baygut (born March 3, 1985 in Tuzla ) is a Turkish Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 74 kilograms.

Baygut played his first international title fights at the 2005 European Championships in Riga , where he was eliminated in the second round. Two years later, he took part in the World Cup in Beijing for the first time , but suffered an opening defeat. In the following years he was particularly successful at European championships. In 2008 in Rome and 2010 in Saint Petersburg he was European Champion, in the final he defeated Manuel Mark from Austria both times . At the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju , Baygut reached the semi-finals and won his first World Cup medal with bronze. A year later he won his third European Championship medal with silver at the 2012 European Championships in Manchester .

Baygut studied at Sakarya University . He participated in three Universiades , his best results were two quarterfinals. He starts for the Tuzla Belediyesi Spor Kulübü'nde club .
