Manuel Quintas
Manuel Neto Quintas SCI (born August 27, 1949 in Mazouco ) is Bishop of Faro .
Life
Manuel Neto Quintas joined the religious order of the Dehonians , made his profession on September 29, 1969 and was ordained a priest on June 12, 1977 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Faro and titular bishop of Elicroca on June 30, 2000 .
The bishop of Faro, Manuel Madureira Dias , donated him episcopal ordination on September 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were António de Sousa Braga SCI, Bishop of Angra , and António José Rafael , Bishop of Bragança-Miranda .
On April 22, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Faro.
