Marc & Alex are the German illusionists and magicians Marc alias René Marc Léger (born June 1, 1975 in Tübingen ) and Alex alias Matthias Alexander Neu (born August 11, 1974 in Tübingen). Among other things, they won 3rd place at the FISM World Championships in 2006 and were German champions in 2005. In 2009 they performed with stars in the arena .

biography

Marc started with the magic box at the age of 5. Since then he has been doing magic in front of an audience. Marc and Alex met at school when they were 15. When recording the first demo video, Alex was still an assistant. Two years later, both were on stage with equal rights. In 1995 they performed magic in their first variety production in their hometown of Rottenburg am Neckar with a self-made grand illusion, the escape box . Since 2001 you have been a member of the Magic Circle of Germany and represent the Stuttgart School of Eberhard Riese . She never let go of the passion for magic and the great magic tricks . Today they have international appearances with their eight-person crew.

A special highlight of her magic is the appearance of a 16-meter-long touring coach from nowhere at Neoplan . In the same year they brought their entertainment show World of Illusions to the stage. In 2007 and 2008 they completed the trilogy with Dreaming - The World of Illusions and The World of Illusions - Reloaded . Her colleague Gaston was invited as a special guest of the two shows. At Patrick Sébastien's Le Plus Grand Caberet du monde they showed their new spike illusion . Together with the Rottenburg Trade and Industry Association, they launched the Rottenburg Juggler Festival in 2003. As a prelude to this, they have been staging the Rottenburger KeimGala, an international variety gala, in the Festhalle since 2012. In 2009 they are guests of Stars in the Manege and let Uschi glass float. In 2010 they celebrated their 20th stage anniversary together with Gaston.

On March 4, 2012, they took part in the Guinness World Record . At the Tübingen Magician Gala they were part of the show 100 Magicians in 100 Minutes. Their latest full-length show started in December 2012. It's called 22 - The New Show .

In October 2013 Marc & Alex were named Artists of the Year 2013. At the Golden Artist Gala in the FILharmonie Filderstadt they were awarded the Golden Artist Magazine.

In January 2014 they were part of the show program of the German Championship of the MZVD in Sindelfingen . In front of invited guests, they showed their tricks and great illusions .

In France at the “10. Festival International des Dauphins Magiques ”in March 2014 they were awarded the Golden Dolphin.
