Marc Behrenbeck

Marc Behrenbeck (born April 8, 1982 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German television presenter in the field of sports and media entrepreneur.

Education

Behrenbeck studied journalism at Darmstadt University and the Bournemouth Media School. He completed his MBA at the University of St. Gallen and Columbia University in New York.

job

Behrenbeck has been working for the pay TV broadcaster Sky since 2011 . It is mainly used in soccer, Formula 1 and US sports . In this role, he reports live from the stadiums and arenas. He is also the reporter responsible for FIFA , UEFA , DFB and DFL and is an expert in the fields of sports politics, business and associations. He also became known to a broader public through his coverage of the FIFA and DFB scandal. For this he received several awards. Before joining Sky, he worked in media management at Red Bull and the Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing and worked as a reporter for ZDF , FAZ and Radio FFH . Behrenbeck has also been reporting from the USA from the Super Bowl / NFL and the NBA for years. Every week he writes his football column "Behrenbecks Blick" for various German daily newspapers.

In 2004 he founded the start-up agency "Creative Concepts", which was later sold. Since 2015 he has been a partner in the Berlin sports marketing agency “Beyond” and the content agency “Story”.

Behrenbeck lives in Munich and Frankfurt am Main. He is not married. He used to be in a relationship with the radio presenter Sarah von Neuburg and the actress Antonia Fuchs from Unter uns .

In his youth he played soccer in the top German league and various youth selections and was a junior coach in Offenbach and at Eintracht Frankfurt .

In 2006, Behrenbeck published a textbook on the subject of “Best Agers in the Media” and wrote a contribution to the media studies series on the subject of format radio.
