Marc Crosas Luque (born January 9, 1988 in Sant Feliu de Guíxols , Spain ) is a Catalan football player who currently plays for CD Cruz Azul .
At the beginning of his career, Crosas was seen as one of the greatest talents in Spanish football and has already been compared to Pep Guardiola and Xavi due to his very good passing game and good defensive work .
Career
Crosas is a product of the legendary Barça school and went to FC Barcelona as a teenager . He made his debut for the first team in November 2006 in the Copa del Rey in the second half of the match against FC Badalona , when he came on for Andrés Iniesta . He made his first European game in December 2007 against VfB Stuttgart . But since Barça was very top-class in midfield and made it difficult for a talent like Crosas to play regularly, he was loaned out to Olympique Lyon for half a year in January 2008 , where he did seven short appearances and one full season in Ligue 1 .
For the 2008/09 season Crosas moved to Celtic Glasgow in Scotland for a transfer fee of € 500,000 . However, Barcelona kept a buyback right open, for a fixed € 2,000,000.
After a year with Volga Nizhny Novgorod , Crosas moved to Santos Laguna for € 800,000 , which awarded him to the CD Leones Negros de la UdeG in 2014 . He then moved to his seventh station, the CD Cruz Azul, who first loaned him to the CD Tenerife and then to the Tampico-Madero FC .
