Marc Powers (born July 10, 1990 in New York City ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Marc Powers has consistently been among the top 20 junior players in the US, but did not play any tournaments on the ITF Junior Tour.

Powers only played two professional tournaments in his entire career, but both on the ATP Tour . With a wildcard from the tournament officials in New Haven , he took part in the qualification in 2009 and 2010 and lost in two clear sets. In 2010 he also received a wildcard for doubles , where he competed with Nolan Paige . They lost to Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman at the beginning with 4: 6 and 2: 6.

From 2009 to 2013 he studied politics at Yale University . During this time he also played college tennis . In his career he came to a balance of 106: 63. After completing his studies, he stopped playing tennis. He could never place himself in the tennis world rankings.
