Marc Pujol Pons (born August 21, 1982 ) is an Andorran football player . In addition to his Andorran citizenship, he also has a Spanish passport.

Career

In the club

Pujol plays in the position of the striker, but is also often used in midfield. He is 1.68 meters tall and weighs 58 kilograms. He began his career in 2000 with FC Andorra , and in 2002 he moved to UE Sant Andreu . After another two years he moved again, this time to UE Figueres and a year later to FC Santboià . From the 2008 season, Pujol played two years for the fourth-class Spanish club CF Balaguer . In 2010 he returned to FC Andorra.

National team

In the national team, he has played 57 international matches and scored two goals. He shot one of them on September 8, 2004 when qualifying for the 2006 World Cup : in the 5-1 home defeat against Romania , he scored the interim 1-3 with a penalty in the 30th minute. On September 10, 2008 he scored in the qualifying game for the 2010 World Cup against Belarus in the 66th minute to equalize, but Andorra lost the game 3-1.
