Marc Ribas (born February 26, 1988 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been playing for FC Barcelona since the beginning of his career . Since 2009 he has been playing for the Catalans in the Superliga , the top division in Spain.

Career

Marc Ribas began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of FC Barcelona . In the 2009/10 season he made his debut in the Superliga , the top division in Spain. With the team from the Catalan metropolis, he won the Spanish runner-up in 2011.

International

For Spain Ribas took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships 2004 , 2005 and 2006 and the U20 World Championships 2005 , 2006 and 2008 in Division II.

In the senior sector, he made his debut at the 2014 World Cup , when he was promoted from the B group to the A group in Division II with the Iberians.
