Marinus (Marc) Gerardus Adrianus van Hintum (born June 22, 1967 in Oss ) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

society

Van Hintum played in the Netherlands for Helmond Sport , RKC Waalwijk , Willem II Tilburg and Vitesse Arnhem before moving to Germany. He came to Hannover 96 during the winter break of the 2001/02 season . The 96ers played in the 2nd Bundesliga . Van Hintum made seven appearances in the rest of the season and was thus directly involved in winning the championship and advancing to the Bundesliga . In the team of coach Ralf Rangnick , van Hintum made ten appearances in the following Bundesliga year. He then moved back to RKC Waalwijk, where he played until 2005.

National team

Van Hintum played eight times for the Netherlands . He made his debut in the dress of the national team on November 18, 1998 in a 1-1 draw at Gelsenkirchen's Park Stadium , in a friendly against the German team. In his appearances in the national jersey, he could not win.
