Iureș is considered Romania's most famous actor , who has appeared in more than two dozen films in his home country.

He has proven that he is also in high demand internationally in a handful of Hollywood films, including Project: Peacemaker (1997), Mission Impossible (1996) and Interview with a Vampire (1994).

That Iureș could shine in very different roles, he proved when he was the commander of a National Socialist POW camp in The Tribunal in 2002 and in The same year in The Deputy Pope Pius XII. embodied. In 2004 he played a supporting role in the British film Layer Cake .

Theater actor

Iureș, who fled to Hollywood after the 1989 revolution , returned to Romania in 1998, where he played a key role in building the ACT Theater , the only independent theater in Romania.
