Marcel Roşca (born October 18, 1943 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian sports shooter .

successes

Marcel Roşca took part in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo and 1968 in Mexico City in part. 1964 was sixth with 588 points, four years later, like Renart Suleimanow and Christian Düring , he achieved the second-best result with 591 points. In the subsequent jump-off he scored 147 points, while Suleimanow and Düring only scored 146. Roşca secured the silver medal behind Józef Zapędzki .

Roşca won the silver medal with the rapid-fire pistol in team competitions at the 1966 World Championships in Wiesbaden and 1970 in Phoenix , and bronze in 1974 in Thun .

In 1968 he graduated from the National University of Theater and Film Arts "Ion Luca Caragiale" , but then initially became a traffic police officer in Bucharest. He won a TV competition in 1970 and then sang as bass in the Bucharest Opera . In 1984 he moved to West Germany .
