Marcel Zischg

Marcel Zischg (born January 18, 1988 in Meran ) is an Italian author whose books focus primarily on children and young people. He lives and works in South Tyrol .

Life

Marcel Zischg grew up in Naturns in the burgrave office . After secondary school, he attended the Franz Kafka commercial college in Merano and then studied German and comparative literature in Innsbruck . During his student days he published short stories and fairy tales in anthologies as well as his first volume of short stories, “Familie am Bach”, in the Province of Brixen . For the 700th anniversary of Merano, he wrote a collection of stories for children together with the Italian writer Andrea Valente . In the same year he won the 6th call for "Talents" (together with two other authors) from the Innsbruck literary association Cognac & Biskotten with his unpublished short stories, which mostly focus on the mental problems of young people.

Zischg also regularly writes film reviews on the maerchenfilm.info website .
