Marcia Bales
Marcia Bales (born Marcia Mortensen on August 14, 1953 in Salt Lake City , Utah ) is a former game designer who worked for Sierra On-Line .
Bales studied at Brigham Young University until 1976 , where she obtained her bachelor's degree. She initially worked as a layout artist and later as a storyboarder for Marvel Comics . From 1993 she worked at Brightstar Technology as a senior artist. After the takeover by Sierra On-Line , she got the chance to become a game designer. She designed the two games Shivers and Shivers II: Harvest of Souls . She was also a senior artist at Mixed Up Mother Goose and worked on Sierra Home products . After giving up the home range, she switched to Primus DataSystems .
Marcia Bales withdrew from the industry, as did Roberta Williams and Al Lowe . Together with her husband Kim Bales, she has been running the Mayan Beach Garden Inn , a bed and breakfast hotel on the Mexican Caribbean coast, since 2002 .
In the early to mid-1980s she was a. a. Involved in several episodes of the following cartoon series as a layout artist: The Incredible Hulk (cartoon series 1982) , Goldie Gold and Action Jack and Thundarr the Barbarian . In the mid-1980s, she wrote storyboards for episodes of the series Inhumanoids and Visionaries: Knights of Magical Light .
