Life

Maciejowski's works are shaped by his graphic training, the paintings often resemble overexposed photographs. Luminous primary colors dominate in front of light backgrounds, facial details of people are often missing entirely or have a caricature-like effect. Often the images also have a military touch.

From 1998 to 2000 he was editor of the magazine "We wtorek" ("On Tuesday"). He drew a weekly cartoon series for “Przekrój Magazine”.
