Marco Antonio Trejo León (born December 8, 1958 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender and today's football coach.

career

Trejo belonged from 1978 to 1986 to the squad of the first division team of his "home club" Cruz Azul , with whom he won the championship title in the seasons 1978/79 and 1979/80 and was again runner-up in 1980/81.

In 1986 Trejo moved to Atlas Guadalajara , where he was under contract until the 1991/92 season.

Following his active career, Trejo hit a career as a coach. In the 2003/04 season he was the head coach for Cruz Azul Oaxaca , a farm team of his former club Cruz Azul. He then looked after the Huracanes de Colima and Querétaro FC for around six months before he was involved with Atlético Mexiquense for the entire 2007/08 season . Subsequently, he had a longer engagement with the Alacranes de Durango and since then only various short assignments at various clubs.
