Marco Baldi (born November 7, 1966 in Aosta , Aosta Valley ) is a former Italian basketball player and sports director . He should not be confused with his German namesake, Marco Baldi , who was four years his senior and who carried out similar activities. Baldi was particularly active as a professional for Olimpia Milano . With this club he was involved as a player in three national championships and two Korać Cup successes and worked after his career from 2002 to 2007 as the sports director for the club. He was also active as a player abroad for the Bayer Giants Leverkusen in the German basketball league and the London Towers in the British Basketball League . Baldi then worked as a scout, among other things .
