Marcus Hernig
Marcus Hernig (born January 6, 1968 ) is the author of non-fiction and fiction on the subject of China and Sino-German cultural cooperation.
Life
Hernig studied Sinology , German Studies and History in Bochum and Nanjing , China. He is currently an associate professor at Hangzhou Zhejiang University , a freelance trainer and consultant for business enterprises on issues relating to culture and communication.
He writes non-fiction books and historical novels about the coexistence of Europeans and Chinese in China and works with Chinese and German publishers. The contents of his books are topics of lectures and training courses.
Hernig has lived in China since 1992 and in Shanghai since 1998 .
