Marcus "Bica" di Giuseppe (born March 12, 1972 in Registro ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
Career
Bica played for Sporting Cristal in Peru until 1996 . In January 1996 he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club SV Austria Salzburg . He made his debut for Austria Salzburg in the Bundesliga in March 1996 when he was in the starting line-up against SV Ried on matchday 19 of the 1995/96 season and was replaced by Dean Računica at half-time . He scored his first goal in the top Austrian league in May 1996 in a 3-1 defeat against FC Tirol Innsbruck . In total, Bica played 18 games in the Bundesliga, in which he scored three goals, of which he completed eleven in the 1996/97 season, when Salzburg became champions. However, Bica left the club during the current season.
In 1997 he moved to Greece to Paniliakos . For the club he completed 15 games in the Alpha Ethniki . In 1998 he returned to Peru and joined the Sport Boys .
In September 1999, Bica moved to England for Sunderland AFC . After a short time at Sunderland, he joined the second division club FC Walsall in October 1999 , for which he played a game. In January 2000 he moved again to Peru, this time to Universitario de Deportes . From January 2001 he played in Uruguay for Danubio FC . After six months in Uruguay, he returned to Peru in the summer of 2001 and joined Deportivo Wanka . He then played for Estudiantes de Medicina and Coronel Bolognesi FC before ending his career after the 2005 season.
