Maren Jensen

Maren Kawehilani Jensen (born September 23, 1956 in Arcadia , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Jensen studied acting at the University of California (UCLA) and initially worked as a photo model for Cosmopolitan magazine, among others . In 1978 she got a series starring role as bridge officer and daughter of Commander Adama in the television series Battle Star Galactica . Guest roles followed in the popular series Love Boat and Fantasy Island .

She had her last film role in 1981 as a leading actress alongside Sharon Stone in Wes Craven's horror film Deadly Blessing . She then fell ill with chronic fatigue syndrome , which is why she gave up her acting career. At that time she was the partner of Don Henley , who dedicated his first solo album to her in 1982. She also sang in the background on Johnny Can't Read and appeared in the music video for Not Enough Love in the World . The two separated in 1986.
