Maren Weingarz (born October 16, 1994 in Adenau ) is a German soccer player who has been playing for SG 99 Andernach since 2016 .
Career
Weingarz began playing football at the age of four and initially played in the boys' team at SV Wershofen , which was coached by her father. In July 2004, Weingarz, then nine years old, moved to the youth department of SC 07 Bad Neuenahr . There she was used continuously for the first time from the B-youth and was part of the squad of the second team from the 2010/11 season, with which she was promoted from the Regionalliga Südwest to the 2nd Bundesliga South in summer 2011 .
Weingarz played her first game for Bad Neuenahr's first team on October 24, 2010, when she came on as a substitute for Marie Pyko in the 63rd minute in the DFB Cup round of 16 against 1. FC Saarbrücken . Bad Neuenahr won 7-0. She made her first appearance in the Bundesliga when she lost 5-2 to Turbine Potsdam on February 15, 2011, when she came on for Nadine Rolser in the 87th minute . In the summer break of 2011, it was also used five times in the Bundesliga Cup . Shortly before, she had won the U-20 country cup with the selection of the Rhineland Football Association . In the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons Weingarz was mainly used for Bad Neuenahr's second team and only for another brief assignment in the Bundesliga. After Bad Neuenahr was relegated to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2013, the midfielder was back in the first team in the 2013/14 season , but was relegated to the Regionalliga Südwest with the successor club SC 13 Bad Neuenahr in the summer of 2014.
She then switched to the second representative of 1. FC Cologne in the Regionalliga West . In the spring of 2015 she played her first games for Cologne's first team and rose to the Bundesliga as champions of the 2nd Bundesliga South with this team.
