Margit Berghof-Becker (born December 13, 1959 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe ) is a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Margit Berghof-Becker trained as a hotel and restaurant specialist and studied sociology. Until 1995 she was the personal advisor to the Hessian Minister of Education, Hartmut Holzapfel . She ran for the state elections in Hesse in 1995 in the constituency of Hochtaunus I , but initially did not move into the state parliament because her position on the state list did not move. On April 5, 1995, she replaced Karl Starzacher in the state parliament, to which she was a member until the end of the electoral term on April 4, 1999.

Margit Berghof-Becker heads the conference facility management of the Office for Teacher Education with the conference facility Reinhardswaldschule in Fuldatal and the conference facility Weilburg . She has been married to the Lord Mayor of Kassel Bertram Hilgen since November 1st, 2015 .
