Margit Pflagner

Margit Pflagner , née Margarete Herta Schneider , (born September 13, 1914 in Bielitz , Silesia ; † November 29, 2010 in Eisenstadt , Burgenland ) was an Austrian author, radio play author, poet, biographer and translator.

Life

Pflagner studied German, Romance languages ​​and newspaper studies at the University of Vienna and worked as a freelance journalist.

The editing of Heinrich Harrer's diaries , which resulted in his work Seven Years in Tibet , is remarkable .
