Margret Neuhaus

Margret Neuhaus (* 12. February 1930 in Dusseldorf as Margarete Neuhausen ) is a German actress , radio play and voice actress .

Life

Neuhaus appeared as a theater actress in Hamburg in the early 1950s. She played numerous classical stage roles at the Junge Theater and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus, such as "Poly" in Georg Kaiser's Napoleon in New Orléans , "Tofva" in August Strindberg's Schwanenweiss , "Agnes" in Jean Anouilh's Lerche , "Hopp-Majänn" in Hans Müller-Schlösser's tailor Wibbel and the "Varinka" in George Bernard Shaw's Die Große Katharina . In 1955 she moved to the ensemble of the Bern City Theater .

In addition, she also took on roles in film and television productions from the 1950s. Margret Neuhaus starred alongside Sonja Ziemann in Ákos by Ráthonyis You must be beautiful, directed by Géza von Cziffras in the musical Flower of Hawaii , in Aleksander Ford's drama The Doctor Finds ... as well as in the television thriller Die Tote im Hafenbecken from the Stahlnetz series .

She also worked extensively as a speaker for radio plays and film dubbing . She lent her voice to Brenda de Banzie in Lord of the House I Am , Barbara Murray in The Man in Black and Eunice Gayson in On the Street Corner .
