Annunciation (Niederscheyern)
The Catholic Curate Church of the Annunciation in Niederscheyern , a district of the town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , was first mentioned in 1144. The church at Scheyerer Weg 3 is a protected monument .
description
The tower floor was built around 1300, the fed polygonal choir with net vault and the nave with lunette ton and ornamental ribs 1433. The plastered hall church with a steep pitched roof , with buttresses and northern choir edge tower with an octagonal tower and onion dome with lantern was in 17/18. Century baroque .
Furnishing
After 1892 the church was regotized . In the high altar is the miraculous image of the former pilgrimage , a seated Virgin in life size, which is dated around 1500. The organ with eight registers dates from 1881 and is one of the earliest works by Martin Binder .
