history

The Maria Hilf church was built after the Thirty Years' War between 1653 and 1655, but was destroyed again by imperial troops in 1703 . 40 years after the reconstruction from 1703 to 1734, the next demolition followed during the great fire of Murnau in 1774. Again it was decided to rebuild, so that today's church was created.

In 1988 the church was renovated.
