Maria Cleff
Maria Cleff (born March 30, 1869 in Remscheid , † 1935 in Düsseldorf ) was a German painter and etcher from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Cleff received her artistic training through private lessons with the landscape painter Olof Jernberg and with the etcher Heinrich Otto in Düsseldorf. There she joined the Association of Düsseldorf Artists . She preferred to work as an eraser. The subjects of her depictions included landscapes from the Eifel and Belgium . In 1911 she took part in a special exhibition in the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum in Krefeld .
