The Roman Catholic subsidiary church Maria Hilf is in Otzbach , a district of Geisa in the Wartburg district in Thuringia . The Maria Hilf branch (Otzbach) belongs to the parish association of St. Elisabeth in the Ulster, Felda and Werra valleys in the Hünfeld-Geisa deanery in the Fulda diocese .
description
A chapel was built in 1750 from a former barn . Since it was in poor condition, a simple brick hall church was built in 1904 over three window axes in a neo-Romanesque form with buttresses . There is an arched frieze under the eaves . A slate roof turret rises from the gable roof , which had to be demolished in 1968 because it was in disrepair . In 1993 it was rebuilt with a cross and a tower ball . The portal is reached via a portico .
