Maria Sazarina

Maria Sazarina (born April 21, 1914 in Rostov-on-Don ; † October 20, 1959 in Hamburg ) was a Russian dancer and actress .

Life

She received her ballet training in Petrograd and Moscow , where she danced in children's ballet. Sazarina came to Berlin and became a solo dancer at La Scala and in the winter garden .

She danced at revues in Paris , London and Budapest , then again in Berlin in the Metropol Theater and in the Admiralspalast . In the 1930s and most recently in 1940 she took part in several German sound films. After the end of the Second World War, she made guest appearances at the Volksoper Hamburg and directed a Hamburg dance school.
