action
Ludovica von Palamo is the head of state of a small principality. The ministers want to deprive her of the throne and go in search of the missing heir to the throne, Prince Antonio Torelli, who is an opera singer. He agrees, but only if his friend, Kapellmeister Benjamin Cortes, is at his side as minister. Ludovica is secretly placed under house arrest by the ministers until Benjamin runs into the former regent while riding out.
Reviews
“An old, only conditionally entertaining musical comedy. Without Heinz Rühmann, who, thanks to his exuberant comedy, takes center stage several times, there would be nothing more than traditional singsong. (Pre-war title: "A waltz for you"; later title: "Help - I am a minister") "
