Maria regina coeli (Römershagen)
The Catholic parish church Maria regina coeli is a listed church building in Römershagen , a district of Wenden in the Olpe district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The building is a simple, Gothic-style hall building with a three-sided end. It was built under the direction of Michael Spanner . The building was built in 1715/17 and modified in 1730/31. The groin vaults are made of wood. The Romanesque tower is provided with coupled sound openings. The south portal dates from 1950.
Furnishing
- The altars date from the first half of the 18th century, they are decorated with baroque figures of saints from different eras and origins.
- The pulpit is a work by Johann Nikolaus Düringer from Hadamar , it was created in 1734
