Marianne Lembacher

Marianne Lembacher (born December 30, 1949 in Vienna ) is an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ). From 1988 to 2013 she was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After finishing elementary and secondary school, Lembacher attended an agricultural vocational school and in 1972 passed the master craftsman's examination for rural housekeeping and business takeover. She works as a farmer in Maissau and was awarded the professional title of economist.

Lembacher was a member of the Rural Youth and the Young People's Party and subsequently became a chamber councilor and member of the district party leadership. She is the regional chairwoman of the Lower Austrian Family Federation and deputy chairman of the regional viticulture association. In addition, since 1989 she has held the position of deputy district party chairwoman. From November 17, 1988 she represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament, where she was the family spokeswoman for the ÖVP state parliament club and most recently stood as the top candidate of the ÖVP in the Hollabrunn district in the state elections in 2008 . She did not run for the 2013 state election and left the state parliament on April 24, 2013.
