Marianne Polz

Marianne Polz (born July 18, 1944 in Namslau ) is a German specialist in German and didactic .

Life

From 1963 to 1967 she completed a course as a subject teacher for German and Russian at the Pedagogical Institute in Leipzig ( state examination ). After successfully completing her preparatory service in 1969 , she was a teacher at a polytechnic high school in Deutzen until 1978 , then in Markkleeberg . From 1978 to 1992 she worked at the University of Education in Leipzig as a planned aspirant, assistant and senior assistant. After her doctorate A 1983 on the subject of "Didactic investigations into the cooperation- promoting language behavior of the teacher in classroom discussions" and her habilitation on the subject of "Process conception of oral representation in expression teaching with special consideration of the subject-object dialectic" in 1991, she represented C 3 positions from 1993 to 1994 at the University of Vechta and the University of Braunschweig . From 1994 to 2009 she was professor for linguistics and its didactics at the Europa-Universität Flensburg (formerly Bildungswissenschaftliche Hochschule Flensburg), until 2013 she was still teaching. In the early years of Flensburg, she worked as a co-author and editor of volumes 5 to 10 of the language book "German Lessons" (Cornelsen) and the corresponding teacher volumes (New edition for Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg, Berlin).

Her main research areas "Oral Communication" and "Working with Factual Texts" are reflected in numerous publications.
