Marie Louise Coleiro Preca
Marie Louise Coleiro Preca (born December 7, 1958 in Qormi ) is a Maltese politician of the Partit Laburista and was the president of her country from April 4, 2014 to April 4, 2019.
Life
Coleiro Preca comes from a Roman Catholic family and studied at the University of Malta . She has been a Member of the House of Representatives in Malta since 1998 . From March 11, 2013 to March 29, 2014, she was Family Minister in Malta. On April 4, 2014, she became President of the Republic as the successor to George Abela . She is married and has one child.
