Marie-Theres Arnbom
Marie-Theres Arnbom (* 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian historian , author, curator and cultural manager .
Life
Marie-Theres Arnbom comes from an upper-class family, her father was the director Arne Arnbom . She studied history and theater studies at the University of Vienna . She wrote her diploma thesis in 1990 on the subject of bourgeoisie after the end of the bourgeois era? A Viennese family configuration between 1900 and 1930 . In 1994 she was given the dissertation "Bourgeois, all too bourgeois terms ..." Life experiences in emigration using the example of Dr. Stefan Herz-Kestranek is doing his doctorate.
Arnbom is also the founder of the St. Gilgen Children's Music Festival , Upper Austria and - together with Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz - founder of the research institute for operetta and entertainment theater. Among other things, she works on the history of Jewish intellectuals and tries to revive their world of thought.
Arnbom is married to the chemist, entrepreneur and genealogist Georg Gaugusch .
