Marie Jordan

Marie Jordan (born October 4, 1988 in Berlin ) is a German actress.

Life

Marie Jordan grew up in Berlin, where she gained her first stage experience at the “JungeDT” of the German Theater Berlin and in “P14” of the Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. She also worked for three years with Tim Tonndorf in the free group "A2". and in 2008 volunteered to lead a theater group with mentally and physically disabled people.

While studying at the University of Music and Theater Hamburg played them at the Thalia Theater Hamburg in "Spring Awakening", directed by Karin Neuhäuser the Wendla and worked at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in "The Ballad of the Flying Dutchman" with Hamburg Sebastian Baumgarten together. “ Das Leben Ein Traum ”, directed by Tobias Herzberg, was invited to the 2014 Körber Studio Junge Regie in Hamburg.

She gained further experience as a performer in the independent scene in Hamburg at the Lichthof Theater and Kampnagel.

In her first engagement at the Freiburg Theater under the direction of Barbara Mundel , collaborations a. a. with Schorsch Cameroon , Christoph Frick , Heike M. Goetze and Jan Gehler .

Marie Jordan has been working as a freelancer since the 2017/18 season. Since then she has been a regular guest at the Dresden State Theater

In summer 2018 she helped found the free group Bambi Bambule. Marie Jordan has since worked as a freelance dramaturge, director, conceptual artist, author and performer in the independent scene in Freiburg and Berlin.
