Heike M. Goetze

Heike Marianne Goetze (* 1978 in Osnabrück ) is a German theater director .

Life

Heike M. Goetze completed a degree in directing at the Zurich University of the Arts . During this time she realized freelance projects like The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents by Lukas Bärfuss , Sleeping Beauty by Elfriede Jelinek at the Zurich Festival and Dinosaurs forever at the Zurich Theater Spektakel . She sat in with George Tabori and Luk Perceval and was an assistant director in Osnabrück, Berlin and Zurich. In 2008 she won the award for the best young director at the Körber Studio Junge Regie for her Zurich diploma production of Juli Zeh's novel Spieltrieb .

After that staged Heike M. Goetze at the State Theater Tübingen the piece SumSum by Laura de Weck and at the Theater Basel Mondscheiner of Andri Beyeler . In the 2009/10 season she directed the Schauspiel Essen ( Why is Herr R. Amok running? Based on Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Michael Fengler ) and Schauspiel Hannover ( Woyzeck , Boys Don't Cry , Romeo and Juliet ). In autumn 2010 she staged Stiller at the Schauspielhaus Zürich based on the novel of the same name by Max Frisch , which was selected for participation in the Radikal jung festival , the following year in the same house Volksvernichtung or Meine Leber ist sinnlos by Werner Schwab and in 2012 the play Messer in Hennen by David Harrower . In March 2011, the premiere of her production Alter Ford Escort dark blue by Dirk Laucke took place at the Schauspielhaus Bochum . In the 2013/14 season, Heike M. Goetze staged, among others, Christoph Nussbaumeder's mother Kramer's ride to grace at the Bochum theater. The first performance of the piece took place at the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen. At the Hanover Theater she directed Katja Brunner's Von den Beinen zu short , which was invited to the Mülheimer Theatertage and Katja Brunner won the Mülheim Dramatist Prize, as well as Felicia Zeller's Kaspar Häuser Meer . Then she staged u. a. furthermore at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, at the Schauspiel Hannover as well as at the Theater Freiburg , the Lucerne Theater and the Theater Neumarkt Zurich .

In some productions, Heike M. Goetze is responsible for the stage and costumes in addition to the direction.
