Andri Beyeler
Andri Beyeler (* 27. May 1976 in Schaffhausen ) is a Swiss dramaturg and playwright . Beyeler writes translations and adaptations as well as his own plays. In 2005 he was awarded the Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin for his children's and youth theater pieces .
Life
Andri Beyeler was born in Schaffhausen in 1976. He studied in Bern from 1997 and worked as a dramaturge in professional and amateur theaters in Switzerland. In 1998 he took part in the 2nd Festival of Young Playwrights Interplay Europe in Berlin, in 2000 in the Dramatikerwerkstatt in Wolfenbüttel and in 2001 in the DRAMATIKERFORUM at the prinz regent theater Bochum. From 2002–2003 Beyeler was the in-house author of the Nationaltheater Mannheim , 2003–2004 at the Staatstheater Stuttgart .

- 2006: Award of the Canton of Bern (together with Martin Bieri )
- 2017: Welti Prize for Drama
