Marie Lu (* 11. July 1984 in Wuxi as Xiwei Lu ) is a Sino-American science fiction -author.

Life

Lu lived in Beijing until she was five before moving to Texas . She graduated from the University of Southern California and later worked for various video game companies. She developed games for iOS and Facebook. She is now a full-time author and occasionally writes poetry. She lives in Pasadena , California.

Legend trilogy

Marie Lu was best known for the dystopian Legend novels. A film adaptation of CBS Films , directed by Jonathan Levine , is planned.
