Marie Panthès
Marie Panthès (born November 3, 1871 in Odessa , † March 11, 1955 in New York ) was a Russian pianist.
She was born in Odessa to French parents. She studied at the Paris Conservatory with Henry Fissot and at fourteen received first prize there. In 1897 she made a tour with the violinist Alexander Petschnikoff . Since 1910 she has taught at the Geneva Conservatoire . Among her students were Julien-François Zbinden , Johnny Aubert , Isabelle Nef and Marguerite Roesgen-Champion .
