history

The living space appeared for the first time in its current spelling in 1838 in an official journal of the Potsdam government. At that time it belonged to the rule of Königs Wusterhausen , who had rebuilt it as a preliminary work on the Krummensee field and left it to the leaseholder Sieburg zu Schenkendorf . In 1840 it appeared again as a Vorwerk belonging to Krummensee, in which a total of 25 people lived in 1858. In 1860 the residential area consisted of a residential building and three farm buildings. In 1925 the number of people had grown to 68. In 1928, the 239 hectare area was detached from the Schenkendorf estate as part of the estate reform and merged with the Krummensee community. There it was run as a residential space in 1932 and 1957 and upgraded to a district in 1964. In the course of a regional reform in 1965 it was assigned to the municipality of Bestensee, while Krummensee became a district of Schenkendorf.

In the 21st century there is a horse boarding house and accommodation for tourists on the residential area.
