The Marienkapelle at the Kahlquelle is a chapel near Kleinkahl in the district of Aschaffenburg in Lower Franconia .

The Marienkapelle stands in an open field in the upper Kahlgrund in the district of Edelbach , southwest of the hamlet of Bamberger Mühle . It is located at the foot of the Ölberg (461 m) directly on the Kahltal-Spessart cycle path to the left of the young Kahl , about 500 m below the Kahlquellen .

The chapel was built by the Kleinkahler Kapellenverein in 2009–2010 and consecrated episcopally to St. Mary on June 6, 2010 . Inside there is a cloak Madonna made of wood, which was made in the Bavarian Forest .
