The Marienkirche in Stammbach is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church in the market town of Stammbach in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

The Marienkirche was already known as a pilgrimage church around 1430 . The tower was built in 1561. In the years 1800 and 1822 large parts of the church were destroyed by fire and rebuilt. The hall building has stucco from 1826. Altar, baptismal font, pulpit and parish chairs are mainly designed in the neo-renaissance style from around 1900 and replaced the previous margrave style with a pulpit altar . The organ from 1828 comes from the organ builder family Heidenreich . Pastor Johann Ernst Teichmann's tomb from 1727 is on the churchyard wall . The church belongs to the Münchberg deanery . It is a listed building (D-4-75-175-4).

On July 2, 1917, the bronze bells and shortly afterwards the tin organ pipes were confiscated by the Royal Ministry of War. In 1921 the bells were replaced and four iron bells, cast in Apolda , were consecrated. The ringing of the iron bells was stopped until the quarter-hour strike in 2012 because the bells had cracked. In 2012 the tower clock from 1961 was replaced by a radio clock. The bells were removed in 2013 through an opening on the north side of the church tower. It is planned to set up the bells in worthy places in the area, the first bell is already in the Oberbuch district . On September 26, 2013, the Rincker bell foundry from Sinn in Hesse cast four new bronze bells, which arrived in Stammbach on November 23 and were consecrated on November 24. The first ring was for the Advent concert on December 20th.

A four-group day-care center belongs to the parish. 50 kindergarten places and since 2012 24 day nursery places are offered. A total of 71 children will be cared for on September 1, 2016.
