Marina Himmighofen (born November 11, 1984 in Koblenz ) is a German soccer player .
Life
Marina Himmighofen, who successfully completed her Abitur in Koblenz, successfully completed an apprenticeship with the Federal Police . In June 2016 she took part in the European Police Championship in Prague for the German national police soccer team.
Career
society
Himmighofen's father worked as a coach for a long time and took her to the football field for training, and so her career at SC Weyer began in the F-youth. Her next stations were TV Bornich and TuS Ahrbach im Westerwald with the U-17 juniors. She played a few games for the Rhineland team and after a year she finally moved to SC 07 Bad Neuenahr , where she soon made the leap into the Bundesliga. She then played for SG Essen-Schönebeck from 2007 to 2009 before moving to FCR 2001 Duisburg . In the summer of 2016, Himmighofen announced the end of her career, but made her comeback in Duisburg in February 2017. After the 2018/19 season it was finally over. Nevertheless, she helped in the end of the season with a few appearances in the following seasons.

National team
The defender came from 2002 to 2003 on a total of four missions in the U-19 national team . In 2003 she was nominated for the Nordic Cup of the U-21 national team in Denmark and by 2005 she made 13 appearances for the U-21 national team.
