Marina Vladimirovna Sudakova ( Russian Марина Владимировна Судакова , scientific transliteration Marina Vladimirovna Sudakova ; born February 17, 1989 in Volgograd , Soviet Union , born Marina Vladimirovna Jarzewa ) is a Russian handball player .

Sudakova started playing handball at a school in Volgograd. Later, the winger GK Rostov-on-Don joined, for whom she initially hunted goals in the second team and then in the first team. With Rostov she won the Russian Cup in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2015 and the championship in 2015. In the 2016/17 season she played for GK Kuban Krasnodar . Then she returned to GK Rostov-on-Don. With Rostov she won the Russian championship in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Since the 2020/21 season she has been playing for the Russian first division club PGK ZSKA Moscow .

Sudakowa has played 100 games for the Russian national team so far , in which they scored 171 goals. With Russia she won the World Cup in 2009 and took third place in the European Championship in 2008 . She won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships .
