Mario Alberto Avilés
Mario Alberto Avilés CO (born September 16, 1969 in Mexico City , Mexico ) is a Mexican religious and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Brownsville .
Life
Mario Alberto Aviles joined in 1986 the Congregation of the Oratory in Mexico City. He received on 21 July 1998, the sacrament of Holy Orders . Since September 10, 2012 Avilés has been General Procurator of the Confederation of Oratorio.
On December 4, 2017 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Cataquas and auxiliary bishop in Brownsville. The Bishop of Brownsville, Daniel Ernest Flores , donated him episcopal ordination on February 22, 2018 ; Co- consecrators were the emeritus Bishop of Brownsville, Raymundo Joseph Peña , and the Bishop of Matamoros , Eugenio Andrés Lira Rugarcía .
