Daniel Ernest Flores
Daniel Ernest Flores (born August 28, 1961 in Palacios ) is an American Roman Catholic clergyman and Bishop of Brownsville .
Life
The Bishop of Corpus Christi , René Henry Gracida , ordained him a priest on January 30, 1988 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 28, 2006 auxiliary bishop in Detroit and titular bishop of Cozyla . The Archbishop of Detroit, Adam Joseph Cardinal Maida , donated him episcopal ordination on November 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were René Henry Gracida, Former Bishop of Corpus Christi, and Edmond Carmody , Bishop of Corpus Christi. As a motto he chose Verbum Mittitur Spirans Amorem .
He was named Bishop of Brownsville on December 9, 2009, and was installed in office on February 2 of the next year.
