Edoardo Aldo Cerrato CO (born October 13, 1949 in Turin ) is an Italian priest and bishop of Ivrea .

Life

Edoardo Aldo Cerrato joined the religious order of the Oratory and was ordained a priest on June 28, 1975 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Ivrea on July 28, 2012 .

The episcopal ordination donated him to the Cardinal Secretary of State and Cardinal Chamberlain , Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Cardinal Bertone SDB , the same year on September 8; Co- consecrators were Adriano Bernardini , Apostolic Nuncio in Italy and San Marino , and Arrigo Miglio , Archbishop of Cagliari . As a motto he chose Ille fidelis . He was inducted into office on October 7, 2012.
